Home Run 5K
Join us Saturday, May 2, 2020 for our Home Run 5K. Runners and walkers are welcome.
The Home Run 5K is held annually at the Free Will Baptist Children’s Home in Middlesex. It serves to raise awareness of the youth served through our programs. The Children’s Home provides a home to children who are victims of abuse, neglect, and abandonment. The Home has served children and families in Central and Eastern NC for 100 years and continues to do so through your support.
The race course takes runners and walkers on a scenic route through our campus and surrounding farm land. The red clay hills draw the eye to the beauty that surrounds you, and participants will be cheered on by fans of the human and bovine variety!
Awards:
Awards will be presented the top 3 overall Male and Female finishers. Awards will be presented to the top three Male and Female finishers in each of the following age groups: 0-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Entry Fees:
$25 Pre-Registered Runners/Walkers
$30 Race Day Runners/Walkers
$15 Each Participant in a Group (5 or more participants). $10 discount applied for each participant when a group reaches 5 members.
Giveaway:
Race t-shirts available only for those registered by 5:00 pm on April 7, 2020.
